NHELD, LLC maintains a central file containing
copies of letters from public school boards, superintendents, and other administrators
to homeschooling families throughout the country. The letters purport to
tell families what they supposedly are "required" to do in order
to homeschool. Most, if not all, of these letters contain misleading and
inaccurate information. Most, if not all, of the public school employees
attempt in some manner or another to coerce, intimidate, or otherwise
improperly compel homeschooling families to comply with certain dictates
that may or may not be required under state law.
With the permission of the recipients, NHELD, LLC will post
information about correspondence in an effort to let all those interested
know how each community cooperates with parents who homeschool.
If you have received a letter from your local public school
that you would like to share with us, please send it to us.
As we have information from various states we will post them
here
